All of our clip-ons are rated UV400 protection and most of them come in polarized or non polarized lenses. The polarized lenses are lighter weight and eliminate more glare.
Method #1 The easiest and most accurate way is to email us a scan of your glasses by using a regular household printer/scanner.
1. Regular household printers normally have a built in scanner and are pretty easy to use. Open the cover and put your glasses front down on the scanner with a quarter placed next to them for size reference as in the picture below.
2. Scan - Leave the scanner cover open while your scanning so that you do not damage your glasses. Place a white cloth over your glasses which helps with scanner lighting.
3. For best results save your scan in the pdf file format. If you have trouble saving your scan as a pdf file, just select save and email us your results with the form below.
We will do our best to find a clip-on that will fit your glasses and normally email you the same day depending on how many scans we received for the day. If we do not have a clip-on for your glasses, we will let you know as soon as we look at your scan.
**NOTE: We do not recommend clip-on sunglasses for rimless or semi rimless glasses.
**NOTES: If the rim is thicker than 3 millimeters, the clip-on will not attach to the frame properly.
After You Receive Your Clip-on Order
The clip-on should never be too tight. The clip-on lens should not rest on your glasses. If you need the next size up or down, please just email us and we will immediately ship out the next best size.
Always clean the lenses on your prescription glasses before attaching the clip-on.
Please be careful when trying on clip-on sunglasses, never put on a pair of clip-on sunglasses that is too small or force a clip-on sunglass to fit. We cannot be responsible if you accidentally scratch one of your lenses. If it looks too small or feels too tight, please send it back and we will gladly send you the next size up immediately or refund your purchase.
Once again, if the clip-on fit is not correct and you need the next size up or down, please return them by regular first class mail to:

Method #2 This method takes time and patience to select the correct fitting clip-on for your glasses. It is really important to follow the instructions below as closely as possible to get the correct fit avoiding the need for exchanges.
Example
In the example above the width is 56mm to the outside of the lens rim and the height of one lens is 39mm height to the outside lens rim. Next use the clip-on shape chart shown below in method #3 to look at the different shape clip-on sunglasses available. Find the clip-on shape that most resembles the shape of your eyeglasses. In this example the rectangle shape is the closest shape to the eyeglass frame. The rectangle shape clip-on would be a pretty good fit for this example. The measurements from our example eyeglass frame above were 56mm width x 39mm height. Look at the list of clip-on shapes below and the best size available for this example would be the rectangle clip on 56mm width x 40mm height. Always go to the next bigger size when in-between sizes. We rarely get this lucky as in the above example when picking a pair of clip-on sunglasses because there are so many different shaped frames out there on the market. Your goal is to get as close as you can to the right shape of your glasses.
